51 · Copied Varbase text, repeated filler sentences and mismatched descriptions in the demo content¶

| Priority | Minor |
| Status | Draft, not filed on drupal.org yet |
Problem/Motivation¶
While translating the demo content we found these errors:
- Text copied from Varbase Starter: the "Reporting Standards" block says "Every story is reported first-hand, with the studio named and the work shown. You will find Password Policy, Security Review, Security Kit, and Username Enumeration Prevention are installed and configured to secure your site. …". The FAQ answer to "How do I pitch a story?" ends with "See our documentation for step-by-step setup instructions" and links to
/documentation, which does not exist (as in report 48); it does not say how to pitch a story. - Filler sentences that do not fit the article: most of the 33 news articles are built from the same set of sentences, e.g. "There is no shortage of people willing to call it inevitable in hindsight. Nobody involved describes it that way." appears in about a dozen of them. Some of these sentences contradict their article: "Why More Studios Are Charging for the Pitch Itself" talks about manufacturing, tooling and "the reissue market"; "The Chair Every Design School Still Teaches" talks about a reissue and drawings "complete for the first time since 1971", and ends with the dangling sentence "Which is, the tutors agree, the reason it still works."
- Three spellings of the name: "The Right Up", "The RightUp" and "Right Up".
- Durations that do not match: the episode "The Studio That Won't Use a Mood Board" shows "2 Mins" on its page and "42 Mins" on the home page.
- Description of another template: the recipe describes "ready-made home, blog, features and contact pages"; the template has news, podcasts and section pages, no blog and no features page. The template list of the Drupal CMS installer uses a different, fitting description.
Steps to reproduce¶
- Install Drupal CMS with The Rightup.
- Open the home page (FAQ, "Reporting Standards"), the article "Why More Studios Are Charging for the Pitch Itself" and the podcast episode "The Studio That Won't Use a Mood Board".
Proposed resolution¶
Write the "Reporting Standards" text and the FAQ answer for this template; replace the shared filler sentences with text that belongs to each article; use one spelling of the name; align the durations; update the recipe description.
Additional information¶
Found with The Rightup 1.0.x on Drupal CMS 2.2.1 (October 2026). The German translation of dcle translates the texts as they are.
