18 · Content fields are configured as not translatable¶

| Priority | Normal |
| Status | Reported upstream as #3615596 |
Problem/Motivation¶
The article and project fields field_content, field_description, field_location and field_quote_text are configured with translatable: false. On a multilingual site these texts cannot be translated; tools that localise default content skip them, so the complete article and project texts stay English while titles are translated.
Steps to reproduce¶
- Install Drupal CMS with Forma and enable content translation for a second language.
- Try to translate an article: the body and description fields are not translatable.
Proposed resolution¶
Make the content fields translatable (translatable: true).
Additional information¶
Also noticed: "The Oakridge Pavillion" → "Pavilion"; see the typo issue.
