19 · Content quality: broken arrows, file-name alt texts, typos, hard-coded demo URLs¶
| Project | Provus EDU (site template) |
| Component | Default content |
| Category | Bug report |
| Priority | Minor |
| Status | Draft, not filed on drupal.org yet |
Problem/Motivation¶
views.view.provus_events_calendar_feedcontains mis-encoded arrows (››,‹‹instead of››/‹‹).- Image alt texts are file names ("contact", "academic banner", "program photo") and do not describe the images (accessibility).
- Typos: "Studeng Login", "Atheletics", "Get Involve on Campus", "Semester Semester".
- The course sequences of Information Technology and General Studies start with the Marketing major's text ("The Marketing major at Windy City Community College requires 60 credit hours…").
- Several links point to
https://windy.provusdemo.com/…instead of relative paths.
Proposed resolution¶
Fix the texts, alt texts and links; re-export the view with correct UTF-8.
