Problem/Motivation

While translating the demo content we found these errors:

  • One answer for four questions: on the About page, "How is my donation used?", "Where does Horizon Aid operate?", "How can I get involved beyond donating?" and "How do I know my impact?" all show the same answer: "100% of public donations go directly to field programmes. …".
  • Contradicting dates: the About page says "For over two decades, we've supported communities too often overlooked" and, a few sections later, "Founded in 2008".
  • Identical report text: all 26 resources share the same sentences around a different first line, e.g. "What began as a local difficulty is now a structural one, and it shapes daily life for every household here.", "Households absorbed the difference themselves — in time, in money, and in risks they would not otherwise take." and "The measure of success is not how long we stay, but whether the work continues once we have gone." Read one after another, the reports look generated.
  • Two descriptions: the recipe describes the template differently from the template list of the Drupal CMS installer.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install Drupal CMS with Horizon Aid.
  2. Open the About page and expand the FAQ.
  3. Open two or three items under Resources.

Proposed resolution

Write an answer for each FAQ question; align the founding year with "two decades"; give the reports their own wording; align the descriptions.

Found with Horizon Aid 1.0.x on Drupal CMS 2.2.1 (October 2026). The German translation of dcle translates the texts as they are.
