41 · "Open Canvas" button on the Components page links to a page that does not exist

Project Lupus Decoupled Starter (site template)
Component Default content
Category Bug report
Priority Minor
Status Draft, not filed on drupal.org yet

Problem/Motivation

The "Start composing" section of the Components demo page has an "Open Canvas" button. In content/canvas_page/components.yml it links to:

href: /admin/content/canvas-pages

That path does not exist and returns "Page not found". The Canvas page overview has always been at /admin/content/pages (collection link of the canvas_page entity type, the same in Canvas 1.0.0, 1.5.0, 1.10.1 and 1.12.0).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install Drupal CMS with Lupus Decoupled Starter and log in.
  2. Open the Components page (/components) and click "Open Canvas".
  3. "Page not found".

Proposed resolution

Link to /admin/content/pages – or to /canvas, if the button should open the Canvas editor rather than the list of pages.

Additional information

Found with Lupus Decoupled Starter 2.2.0 and Canvas 1.12.0 on Drupal CMS 2.2.1 (September 2026).
